i) BCC Highways Department: Roads
a) Reported road defects:
Major Pothole on Oxford Road outside the Village Hall – reported April 2015 – Completed
The Turnpike –Clerk has reported white line area on Bicester Road that has potholes – this was reported to Paul Foot on his visit in April
Pot hole at “Foresters” is crumbling again – Reported – 7th February 2015 – Still awaiting BCC to fix
b) Reported pavement defects:
Pavement in College Crescent opposite No.50 - reported April 2015 – Still awaiting BCC to fix
Pavement Brill Road/Maple Court still outstanding – reported Aug 2012 – Still awaiting BCC to fix
Pavement either side of 27 Worminghall Road is in need of repair – reported Jun 2014 – Still awaiting BCC to fix
Pavement on Manor Road opposite Manor Farm –crumbling – reported Oct 2014 – – Still awaiting BCC to fix.
Pavement collapsed on Oxford Road, past Village Hall on left, as you leave the village – reported Dec 2014. – Still awaiting BCC to fix
c) Reported drain defects:
Drains Brill Road reported Mar 2013 – request for jetting - still outstanding - – Still awaiting BCC to fix
Manor Road drain cover – reported Oct 2014. – Still awaiting BCC to fix
Drain cover outside church – reported April 2015 - Still awaiting BCC to fix
d) Other defects
White lining and cat’s eyes at The Foresters reported May 2014- In discussion with supervisor re: need for road closure.
Kerb setts loose by Oakley Garage – reported?
Clerk has reported to BCC that a tree (next to BT10 – opposite Rambler Cottage) needs cutting. This was reported Aug 2014. Paul Foot said he would contact tree surgeon
Overhanging tree on Worminghall Road, opp Elmwood Close – Completed
Fly-tipping on verge by Camo Skips – reported?
e) Memorial seats
Mr Cherry to report on progress on Mrs Keating seat (new seat).
Mr Mole to report on progress on Mrs Gladdy’s seat (existing seat by School)

9. Play Area/Playing Field:
i) Playing Field Survey
Discussion on how to move forward with Councillor Mrs Daly’s ideas with the youth of the village.
Multi Use Games Area – Mr Rand to supply information to Mr Cherry
Outside Gym (to be kept on agenda)
ii) Acorn Trail (footpath)
Path finished and invoice has been received.
Mr Cherry to supply information on lighting the path, Mr Mole will then apply to LAF for money.
iii) Dog Waste Bins
Clerk to order new Waste Bin for positioning at bottom of Brill Road, new post required or jubilee clips?

Countrywide asked to ensure they cut the grass around the Orchard – Mr Finn contacted them.

Reminder to send copy of survey by email to Clerk for filing
Copy to Mr Mole, so as to get A2 size map.

10. Street Lights defects:
i) Enquiry underway for quotations for following new lamps:
Clerk has resent enquiry – have now received a reply asking for a meeting to be arranged to visit sites.
· Bicester Road, Churchfield House, between: Bicester Road 7 (BT7) – The Nap turn and Bicester Road 8 (BT8) – Church entrance – Bicester side. There is an electricity pole in the right place.
· Middle of Ashfield Rise – no electricity nearby
· 17 Brill Road – no electricity pole nearby
Need to arrange meeting of Councillors and Company to quote.

i) Layby opposite “IBS Site”, Thame Road

14. Defibrillator for Oakley Village:
Training on Defibrillator – Mr Finn to report back from conversation with Mr Allen – Clerk has emailed the defibrillator trainer asking for dates.
15. War Memorial
Clerk to speak with Nick Rogers for help in obtaining a contractor.
16. Parking in College Crescent
Regarding parking – Mr Cherry to report on contact with BCC to see if anything has changed regards funding for car parking in College Crescent.
