7th December 2013 Oakley Parish Council & Oakley Village Events Present THE BIG SWITCH - ON!
* Christmas Tree Lighting & Carol Singing 6pm 7th December by the Bus Shelter Free Mince Pies, Mulled wine & soft drinks * Weather permitting BEST DRESSED HOUSE COMPETITION 2013 The Oakley Village Events Committee offers you a Christmas challenge! Make your home the most Elaborately decorated house exterior in the village. There’s no such thing as overdoing it! Judging will take place during the week commencing 16thDecember, the result being announced in January’s Oakley Informer and on the Village web site www.oakleybucks.co.uk. There will be a Christmas Hamper for the winner.
YOUR VILLAGE NEEDS YOU
Oakley village Events is the Fund raising arm of the Village Hall. Since its formation it has raised 10’s of thousands of £’s for much needed improvements. We are running a number of events this year (Golden Jubilee street party, Village Day, The Annual Village Cricket Match, “The Theatre in the Villages” & the Christmas Tree Lighting) but, without your help these much loved events will not be possible!
